Bambaataa cancels Australian tour

Afrika Bambaataa's planned tour of Australia has been cancelled. The Godfather of electro funk was scheduled to appear throughout Australian from March 17-26, however the entire visit has been pulled.

Madonna was fast-tracked into the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame this year, joining fellow 2008 inductees John Mellencamp, Leonard Cohen, The Dave Clark Five and The Ventures. Donna Summer, Chic, Afrika Bambaataa and The Beastie Boys didn't make the cut.
