Pendulum formed in their home-town of Perth in 2002, when producers Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen teamed up with acclaimed local DJ Paul ‘Elhornet’ Harding. While their individual formative roots ranged from producing drum & bass, breakbeat and hardcore, to playing in metal and punk bands, their comparable talents proved an unstoppable force when they managed to single-handedly conquer the world of drum & bass in their first 12 months together.

After all the Christmas shenanigans had come and gone, I’d set out on this Boxing Day to go to the Big Top at Luna Park and see Australia’s finest drum n bass export, Pendulum. [more]
Indeed I received some perplexed reactions upon declaring that I was going to see Pendulum - a cardinal sin in the circles of more discerning junglists. I’d convinced myself, (and others, I think) that was acting on the pretext of research.... [more]
A lot of hype and rumors surrounded this sell-out gig, featuring what was a monster show of international and local line up of DJs and producers. With an amazing light and sound show, a stellar line up and well behaved audience, Diz'Play, did not diz'apoint! [more]
