While the rest of Sydney was relatively quiet (perhaps due to the end of financial year and the impending interest rate rise), the Earthdance launch party was packed.

That’s the beauty of the sort of party that Dust Tones is: you don’t have to like all of it to have had a brilliant night, which I certainly still did. It’s a very welcome way to hear new sounds, and there are certainly many more hits than misses.
The Sydney crew are taking it global at their next party in early July, exploring sounds from around the world with performances from Ben Walsh from The Bird, rhythm masters Percussion Junction and other tasty treats.
