Last here over summer with the full live band in tow, in an effort to maintain their reputation for frequent and frenzied visits down under, UK breakbeat pranksters the Freestylers will return at the start of June for a grueling run of DJ dates. [more]
2006 sees the Freestylers release their latest artist album, 'Adventures in Freestyle', which showcases a serious quality in songwriting and musicianship. ITM spoke with Astin about the LP, break dancing and their forthcoming Aussie tour. [more]
"Last night we had one of our biggest shows to date," explains Paul ' El Hornet' Harris, one third of Pendulum. "We played the support slot for The Prodigy at Brixton Academy, which had us DJing for 2 hours after they played. Possibly the toughest crowd we've ever had to play to." [more]
If you think you're sick of hearing the Freestylers' 'Push Up', spare a thought for the guys that wrote it. "You kind of become numb to it," laughs one half of the London duo, Aston Harvey. "I've been performing it with a band, playing it as a DJ..." [more]
