As I burst into The Family in my desperate search for warmth on a very cold Saturday evening, everything seemed to be heating up in the venue - although in quite a different way... people were causing a stire in anticipation of Ministry of Sound. [more]
We Love Sounds was back again, and proved that Sounds really have the whole festival thing down pat. To put it simply, it made me feel like maybe I'm not too old for festivals just yet and proved that making the music the main focus really does work. [more]

Wow! What a night. Even in the freezing cold, Adelaide showed true form by packing out the floors of HQ. Goodwill, the Potbelleeze fans filled the arena of this capacity event. [more]
All in all it was a night filled with highs and lows and plenty of exercise after two trips across the city. Pretty much what you can expect from any multi-venued, multi-music styled event really; no big wow factor, just a pretty decent night out. [more]
There's little doubt that winter can be a miserable time of year. But somehow every June long weekend the Sounds Group manage to get around 12,000 people to crawl out of beds to rock out to some of the best acts this city has ever seen. [more]

While the first CD is my favourite, that is no criticism of the second, rather just a personal preference. Kenobi’s set is pounding and stands on its own as a tremendous piece of work. [more]
