Nic Fanciulli’s two different sets over the evening exceeded all my expectations, just brilliantly crafted. He took the crowd on a deep journey, you might even say down a rabbit hole with it being Easter and all.

It wasn’t your usual Sounds on Sunday experience, and I’ve had a few far more memorable afternoons at the Greenwood. Yet with Chicago legend Derrick Carter behind the decks, it still managed to exceed my expoectations!

At $30 a ticket for the pleasure of attending this afterparty I would have expected roof raising cheers, claps, hugs, woo hoos and more. I would have expected a well organised event with much to offer. Not this time though huh?
