V-Festival - Good music, lounging on the grass, interesting fashion, ladies looking gorgeous and a good mixture of relaxed or manic performances with something to satisfy almost every taste. One of my favourite festivals of the summer season.

In the last 6 months Melbourne 5-piece Plug-In City have supported Daft Punk, New Young Pony Club and Damn Arms, and later this month they head out on their first ever festival tour as part of the V Festival. Not bad... Not bad at all.

Following yesterday's news piece speculating on the 2008 V Festival lineup, which was reported to have been leaked prior to the official announcement, the certified first round of artists has now been revealed.

And the winner is… Modular. An unfair advantage was gained by scheduling Cut Copy as the support act. The dynamic duo proceeded to hog the decks till about 2am.
