Having been to two We Love Sounds events up in the festival's spiritual home of Sydney, I knew how good they could be, so the Melbourne event had a lot to live up to - and I was glad we finally got a party that was on the same scale. [more]
With such a build up surrounding We Love Sounds 2008, Brisbane’s version of the winter festival, big things were expected from the Family and the vast line-up of 24 artists across three rooms in nine hours. [more]
All in all it was a night filled with highs and lows and plenty of exercise after two trips across the city. Pretty much what you can expect from any multi-venued, multi-music styled event really; no big wow factor, just a pretty decent night out. [more]
