As part of 2008 Sony inthemix50 Month 21 clubs across Australia were chosen to be representative of our diverse club scene. The final club in Melbourne to host an event was PHD at Inflation on Saturday September 27th.

Traditionally Sublime has been the premier choice in hard dance clubbing in Sydney, so it wasn’t of any great surprise that they were hosting the event for harder style of dance music during the Sydney contingent of the Sony inthemix50 month tour.

Dragonfly is a venue that needs little introduction. Its popularity amongst the inthemix audience, and the public generally, speaks for itself. Therefore, it seemed fitting to have one of the Sony inthemix50 parties hosted there!

Change is as good as a holiday. Or is it that a holiday is as good as change? Either way, having not been to The Monastery for a few months, returning on Thursday for anther installment of the Sony ITM50 parties felt like I’d been on a holiday.
