Not for the faint at heart, Defqon offers a one-of-a-kind experience to its attendees, bringing together stunning visuals with festival traditions turned on their heads. The location is Sydney’s International Regatta Centre, which spreads the festival over nearly 200 acres of other-worldly atmosphere – a perfect fit for this incomparable event. The event was originally founded in the Netherlands, building up from a cult-following into one of the biggest events on the European dance calendar. Its influence continues to this day, spreading across to Australia for the first time in 2009.
