The Prince Bandroom has been hosting live music events in St. Kilda for more than 60 years. Artists such as Coldplay, Pink, Bright Eyes, Jack Johnson, Scissor Sisters, and Goldfrapp have played here, to name just a few; many of the most internationally and nationally renowned artists play here when they are in Melbourne. Prince Bandroom is possibly the most classic and famous Melbourne venue.

The Prince Bandroom has a capacity of 900, with limited bleacher seating. It is open late, with many of its performances not even starting until 11:30 pm. Snacks are available and there is a smoking area.
