On entry to the main room at midnight, we realised that it wasn’t our entry that was being greeted by the roar of a packed shoulder-to-shoulder crowd; but rather that of the shiny bald head and black rimmed glasses made famous by Stephan Bodzin.

James Zabiela is one of Sydney’s favourite artists and has a massive chinstroker following that rivals that of just about any other DJ who has graced our shores. Every gig that he's played in Sydney has been hyped up to insane levels.

I have had the pleasure of attending the last few Bang Gang bashes at Arq, and have found each one to be thoroughly enjoyable. Their Christmas party wasn't absolutely mind-blowing in comparison, but was definitely still a delicious treat.

There aint a lot of nightclubs in Sydney that are more diverse than *Arq*. Many different events have flourished and none of the ones I’ve attended have failed to deliver a great experience, and that’s exactly what Friday night at *Evolve* was like.
