Liam Mazzucchelli, Perth local, founded Ambar after dreaming of a venue where the Underground was promoted. The Perth scene was hungry for a place where the music and club scene could flourish in an independent environment, and so he captured a large part of the market. Ambar has been Perth’s premier Breakbeat venue since its early days, and it has won numerous awards, often being the only Australian nightclub featured in DJ Mags Top Clubs. Ambar is also known for helping up-and-coming DJs become successful.
