The Bondi Pavilion dates from the 1920s. Over the decades since then, it has played host to hundreds of parties, film festivals, plays and various community and cultural events, as well as being a frequently photographed backdrop for visiting tourists.

Perhaps best known to music lovers as the home of Shore Thing, which also spills into Bondi Park; the pavilion is currently home to a theatre and an exhibition gallery, souvenir shop, and also boasts a basketball court, arts and crafts workshops, a beach inspector’s office, first aid office and fulfills countless other purposes year round.
