Festival Hall is one of Melbourne’s larger indoor concert and sporting venues, with a capacity of over 5,000. Known as the original House of Rock and Roll, the venue’s rich legacy has seen it play host to such legends as the Beatles and Frank Sinatra and many of the biggest bands around today have played to a packed house at Festival Hall.
Just to prove it’s more than a one trick pony, Festival Hall has also hosted some of the greatest names in boxing; among them Lionel Rose, Anthony Mundine and Lester Ellis. Wrestling, roller derby, ballroom dancing, cultural events and even indoor tennis have all found a home at Festival Hall.
