Roxanne Parlour, located in Chinatown, has a strikingly unique atmosphere. After stepping out of the lift that brought you from street-level to the Roxanne, you will find yourself in a dimly-lit, seductive, burlesque, warehouse-like environment. There are a few rooms, including the RnB room, the parlour, the dance room, and the roofless smokers’ room. Drinks here are remarkably affordable, especially by Melbourne’s standards, and the musical selection is unpredictable and varied. There are regularly scheduled music events with DJ’s and live acts. Roxanne Parlour is not by any means a high-end bar, yet it is brimming with personality and fun.
