Opening its doors in March 2012, Hi-Fi Sydney is located on the site of the former Forum in The Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park

The operators of Hi-Fi released a statement in late 2011: “The Hi-Fi Sydney completes and consolidates The Hi-Fi’s standing as Australia’s premier live venue operator. The Hi-Fi Sydney features The Hi-Fi archetypal characteristics of cutting edge sound, lighting & production systems, plus unmatched sightlines, providing the ultimate live music experience for our patrons.”

The Hi-Fi first opened its doors on Swanston Street opposite the Melbourne Town Hall 15 years ago. Its Brisbane offshoot was launched with a performance by The Drones in 2009.
