Jazzanova's Berlin Sessions tour this June

The Berlin Sessions are a unique series of club events that aim to reflect what it’s like to have a great night out in the city regarded by many as the epicenter of modern electronic music. In keeping with Berlin’s underground vibe, each venue on the tour has been specifically chosen for its unique ambiance, and they’ll be transformed into self-contained spaces fusing music and art.

At the Civic in Sydney all three levels and a laneway (including a ‘Secret Love’ nu folk rooftop!) will be utilised, while Miss Libertine in Melbourne and Barsoma in Brisbane will make use of gallery spaces displaying video installations and footage of temporary spaces from Berlin. The tour features both established, underground and cutting edge Berlin-based artists, together with locals who have a connection with Berlin’s scene and sound.

The Berlin Sessions feature the legendary Jazzanova, responsible for seminal label Sonar Kollektiv, as well as Quarion of Drumpoet Community and Heiko Laux of Kanzleramt; all Berlin residents, and all world class DJ and producers.
