Fresh from rocking it at Summadayze in Melbourne, the Smirnoff Experience Area 21 juggernaut rolled in to the Gold Coast on Saturday January 5th for Summafieldayze. No doubt the soggiest Summafieldayze on record due to two weeks of torrential rain throughout Southern Queensland, even though the ground was a little moist the day still managed to go off without a hitch with organisers working against the clock to have the site prepared for the day.
Area 21 is a brand new concept that’s introduced to some of the east coast’s biggest dance festivals this summer, with headline superstar DJs playing unexpected sets away from the mainstage… and away from their known style! Following Summadayze and Summafieldayze, Area 21 will next pop up at Kiss My Grass in Melbourne and the Future Music Festival in Sydney and Brisbane, so keep an eye out!
