We’re already midway through February and it seems this year is flying past with no signs of slowing down. We’ve got a stack of brilliant tunes and artists to showcase this podcast, they’re all new and oh so fresh! For Session 52 we get to chat to the Midnight Juggernauts about their amazing summer festival season and upcoming international journey, plus we’ve got super fresh new music from local favourites Jamie Lloyd & Poxymusic, as well as new releases from Miss Kittin, Junkie XL and more.
Feature Artist
Midnight Juggernauts – Shadows (Ajax Remix) [Siberia]
Indie darlings the Midnight Juggernauts have just come off one of the most gig packed Aussie summers a band could ask for, playing Field Day, Homebake, Falls Festival, Big Day Out and everywhere in between. Before they head off on a world tour you’ll be able to catch them one last time in March as they embark on an east coast headline tour to alongside support act M83. Having had such a major year in 2007, they show no signs of slowing down just yet as they recently inked a deal with EMI to see their album ‘Dystopia’ get a worldwide release. And, let’s not forget that the band will soon play one of America’s most loved festivals; Coachella… things just keep getting better and better! We caught up with Vincent to get the lowdown on everything going on in the Juggernauts’ world.
