This would have been my first time seeing Junior Sanchez and after speaking to him I had a feeling I would like his set. So Saturday night was the night to see this man action and I was very excited.

I arrived at Room early so I could catch Andrew Padula’s set. I like the way he moves behind the decks, it was annoying because he played early, which meant I had to be there early…Room 680 was pretty much empty when I arrived, this made me happy because I had the dance floor to myself. Padula played a really funky set with a bit of scratching, swaying and his charisma behind the decks doesn’t allow you too look anywhere else while his on. It was a great start to what was going to be a fun night.

Due to another job I had to leave Room 680 for a while- I didn’t mind because I wanted to have something to look forward to when I came back. When I did Luke Bowditch was pumping some body moving tunes that included, I have a dream and Sweet Dreams. The turn out wasn’t big but the people that did come along were trying to make the best of a good night out.

I was having so much fun in the main room I completely forgot about the second room at one stage- on my way to the bathroom I noticed a lot of people sitting down and chilling out in there.

People started leaving early most likely because there want much of a vibe in the room. A lot of people seemed really tired but that didn’t stop the few fans on the floor. Once Junior got up it was all over…

Amazing… I love what this guy does and I love what he did at Cream at Room 680 on Saturday night. With his hat side ways and his concentration, he played a really fun set. The highlights for me were the house remixes and I think some were his own of, Erotic City by Prince, Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes and Hollywood-Madonna. He also used some samples from 80’s movies that he looped in every now and again.

The energy on the dance floor erupted, people got up from their seats and it seemed like a house party. No one cared about anything at that stage- only dancing. Junior Sanchez rocked the house and I would see him time and time again.
