Yes, you are reading right and no I’m not on some heavy drugs or medication or maybe I should be!!?? For the first time I have found myself at an absolute loss for words! The first words that come to mind to explain my experience at Bass Station on Friday echo along the lines of, for lack of another way to explain it is…. “Why the fuck am I partying elsewhere? Seriously, Im not going to sit here and talk through my smooth behind, all I have to say is, if you haven’t experienced any Bass Station Event go and do it A.S.A.P! Leave the damn Versaces at home, dig down to the bottom of your wardrobe and lick the dust of your phatties, that’s right love, lick it off and get some kandy and go go go! Fridays National Mainroom Event has surpassed any expectation I have had and has shocked me silly. Sound of Now have really outdone themselves this time.

The line up consisted of the S.O.N residents and special guests John Ferris (NSW), Baby Gee (QLD) and DJ Brendon (SA), spread out over the Palace complex throughout the night. These guys (and girls) took us on a journey, combining banging track after banging track, with brilliant lighting and effects (look at the green laser lights through my glasses and you will see everything!), a pumped up, positive and colourful crowd. I don’t think that the talcum powder even had time to settle, as the stomping and shuffling from the floor was more than a stampede of elephants and the cheers from the crowd flowed non-stop. And why wouldn’t it? With tracks such as Bring the Pain, Revelation, and Rhythms Divine (amongst many many others) pumping through the massive sound system. What more can you ask for? Just shut up and Dance!

All the DJs were fantastic, but my personal faves for the night were Master Kaos as he was crazier than I’ve ever seen him, Im surprised he didn’t leave his decks and jump onto the floor and rave with the crowd. And Jewelz, what more can I say? This lady bursts with style and focus, not just performing but executing! Overall everyone played unbelievable on the night and the whole S.O.N Crew put on a fantastic show. A special shout out goes to Sarah for swift entry to the Club and making herself available for even the most strangest requests yours truly asked of her! You rock chick!

Thank-you for a memorable night Bass Station! So now taking the cue from Kaos himself…..

“BASS STATION!!!! LET ME HEAR YOU SCREAM!”

Cheers!Peace!Mwah! Tek-ku J
