FUN!

That’s all I could write for this review as everyone in attendance would justify that this was one crazy party! Alas, for those who didn’t go, I will write a bit more…Arriving at about 12pm, I was greeted at the door by friendly bouncers and door gals…never having been to Tilt before I found it pretty small on first impressions, however that added to the enjoyment of the night as you don’t need many people to fill it. We all know that an empty club can detract from the tunes playing.

Julien Reynolds already had the crowd worked up playing a wide variety of sounds, including house, prog and some trance, but he worked it all in a way that had everyone dancing and wanting more. Mousse T – Right About Now featured and one of his last tracks was Moby – Raining Down.

Next up downstairs was JulesPLees. Keeping up that vibe, going slightly more progressive and trancey, but still continuing the fun vibe. The mash-up of Satoshi Tommie – Up In Flames vs Energy 52 – Cafe Del Mar had the crowd going absolutely nuts!

Unfortunately I had to leave Jules set for a bit to check out Steve May upstairs. Immediately greeted by a dancefloor of raised hands, May had them in the palms of his hands. Playing a sound that if you know any of his quality productions, this was prog how Digweed and Sasha used to play at the docks. As if it couldn’t get any better, May dropped his own Open Day track!

Back downstairs to check out the end of Jules set and the crowd was still up for it. In fact I left the party at 7am during the ‘lock-down’ resident’s vs sets and the place was still jumping!

Kudos must go to all involved in this event, the DJs, Tilt, and most of the all the crowd, it was certainly one of the best events I have been to in a long time.I’m keenly awaiting the next instalment!

Nobody has hearted this, be the first Be the first!
