Well it’s the last Friday of the month which means one thing: next Friday is the first Friday of a new month! It also means it’s time to get Tickled Pink! The girls are back with a new venue so it was time to head down to the Circus and see what was going on…

I got there a little later than expected since the local constabulary had set up a booze bus where I was going to park and also the good old Melbourne weather meant my dad’s flight and my consequential trip to the airport to get him was late. But anyway! Back to the music…Miss Chris had the people grooving away to some nice house, and there where a few people indeed! Danni B soon took over and played some well know tunes doing the rounds at the moment such as the Dirty South remix of ‘Evermore – It’s Too Late’ and some remix (or a new tune with the same sample?) of ‘Mousse T. – Horny’. I did request a song but I couldn’t remember who the artist was and Danni didn’t recognise the title so I tried singing it which I think didn’t help! After pumping up the crowd it was time for the flavour of the month, Tahl. Tahl kept the vibe going with some great tunes and skills on the decks.

A couple of tunes in I hear the song I asked Danni if she had it, I looked over and she was going off! The song in question was ‘Till West & DJ Delicious – Same Man’ and it had most of the other people there going off too. I guess my singing was even worse than I thought…Not long after that I had to leave but my stay while short was enjoyable and the new venue looked really nice, although it seemed a little narrow with only a small dance floor tucked away down the back. I guess that just makes the experience a little more intimate! The femme fatales are doing a nice job and I look forward to being tickled pink next month!
