Sarah Main is a Sydney girl who holds a residency at Pacha, the leading club in Ibiza, and she dropped on down to The Bedroom on her Australian tour to give us a lesson in world leading DJ culture. Sarah slipped onto to the decks with no intro but those in the know found their ears pricking up as her first track was a real slap in the face. More like a wake up call, her first track let you know this was just the start of something good. Good to hear some new tracks and remixes not available on the local circuit or not in favour by the local DJs.

On saying that, Sarah did also add in some remixed anthems like Night Train by Kadoc, World Hold On by Bob Sinclair, _I Like to Move It” by Reel 2 Reel and Operation Blade by Public Domain. Sarah’s stand out track of the night for me was a killer remix of Meet Her at the Love Parade by Da Hool and there was a bent house remix of The End by The Doors.

Have to get my mitts on the Pacha CD mixed by Sarah with Pete Tong as it’s supposed to be a kicker. Sarah drew a phat crowd and I was massively impressed by her, but you can expect that from any DJ with a residency @ Pacha. Brian Cheetham plays at Pacha often so hopefully we will see him out in Australia this year on tour with some of the other big wigs who are also residents at the Ministry of Sound UK clubs. The Bedroom has raised the bar again of world class talent to grace the club’s decks. Who is next, I wonder?
