Tom Novy AKA Thomas Reichold should be renamed Kid Dynamite, as from his first footstep into The Bedroom he was bouncing and the transfer effect was immediately evident. Doing a double take on his entrance to the club, Tom looked more like a ravenous punter than a worldwide-acclaimed DJ. His vibe was already effecting anyone within sight of him as his happy mood was welcomed by the punters, staff and resident DJs.

Shortly after, with the MC teasing the crowd with an intro, Tom slid into the booth to thunderous cheers and began in a word the most ‘thumping’ set to bombard The Bedroom this year. An electric blend of beats with some truly obscure remix tracks, including one by Depeche Mode, were served up by Tom. With equivalent energy to a live Dirty Laundry performance, Tom was a one man twister firing out positivity during his whole stay at The Bedroom. Even before and after he was on the decks he had the majority of people in his gravitational pull in that special place, with a seemingly mile wide smile. Tom plays the music how he wants to hear it, and he certainly gets off on it. It definitely seems to be more to him than just a job of spinning tunes.

Tom’s production work has seen him be crowned a German dance music legend with Your Body blasting floors since December 2005. And Sunday night drew a thick crowd who were keen to soak up Tom’s set, and there were some marathon efforts put in on the floor by the usual suspects.

After Tom’s set the finished the hedonism began as the VIP bar of the club exponentially warped for the last two hours until close. Anyone that was present will know what I talking about! For those of you who were absent, your did miss out on one of those one in a lifetime nights. Tom Novy was supproted by resident Djs Joey Mojo & Gerry Morales.
