When Elite Force finally ‘Shacked up’ in the DJ booth, the floor was full and thumping thanks to awesome sets from Prizzy and Ben Mac.
Tonight Elite Force was celebrating his birthday, and he immediately dropped a bass driven tune that erupted the dancefloor into a sea of hands. Then, he proceeded to bash out tune after tune, his hands punching the air, yelling at the crowd to drive them into a frenzy. Towering over his humble minions with his unquestionable Jedi skills, Elite Force powered through, teasing the crowd relentlessly with his uniquely slippery builds and tech-funk mayhem.
There was no way of knowing what turn he was set to take next, and he embarked on a journey of remarkable and varied tunes. There was a good showing of self produced work, and there was not a moment when he did not hold the entire crowd in the palm of his hand.
At the end of Elite Force’s set, with my legs still twitching from exertion, cheers and applause rang out all through the venue. Hot on his heels, punters stood waiting for more and Micah took over from the headliner with grace. He skillfully held the crowd with a straight up clash of tech-funk and breaks, with the true aficionados kept going right through until the lights came up.
Thanks to Elite Force for sharing your Birthday with the Perth massive. We hope you enjoyed your present!
