Bass Station’s Music against war, a charity event with all the dj’s that participated donating there time for nothing more than a chance to give the civilians in iraq a helping hand. With 2 dollars from every person attending going to helping the people in iraq not there bitch ass government, but at the end of the day is 2 dollars really enough? Which raises the question is this about peace, or profit? But before you go throwing accusations around, just remember a little money is better than none at all.
This brilliant idea was thought of by my favourite Dj of all, Master Kaos, and it escalated into a fun night with great Dj’s, a good crowd, and the chance to help people less fortunate than your self.
This was a wicked night, with well over 15 dj’s in attendance, special guests, and lots of hard trance. After having a look around and chatting to friends, I took my spot on the dance floor to watch LCK vs. Gazmatron battle it out, as every set of the nite was a verses. There set was quite good but when Jewls vs. Mr Ed jumped on stage the fun really begun, by this time the dance floor was starting to get busy. I did notice after not going to this club for quite a few weeks that the crowd had somewhat changed, a lot less people in rave gear and a lot more people in casual clothing.
At around 2:00 am Karl B and Stevie B hit the dex, this got the crowd warmed up, jumping about and ready to party till dawn. After those boys finished there set the special event took place witch pretty much consisted of Jason Midro and special guest Will E Tell getting on stage and playing a reasonably good set I expected a bit more from these two guys though, the quality of their set was excellent but they just didn’t put enough hart into it.
Master Kaos vs. Nick Compound was a wicked set they were a good team up and had the crowd at its peak with everyone going fucking crazy on the dance floor, I particularly enjoy the way Kaos mixes in his set you can definitely see his Hip-Hop back ground come out, and with nick compound by his side you know your going to hear some nice tunes. When that was over Tristan Mason and Damon Boyd brought the night out and as I walked from the club I was very happy with the night I had, not the biggest night, not the best night bit it was still a good night in my book.
