As Christmas approaches and the crazy party season fires up towards the end of the year, celebration is in the air and people revel in the time to reflect upon the year that has gone by.  Mark James reminisces about 2004 this Saturday night at the ITM Xmas Party in a 4 deck mixup with Ivan Gough.

Have you been naughty or have you been nice? 2004 is about to pass us by, but before it does we’ve got just enough time for one more naughty night. ITM is throwing a thumping Christmas party like no other! The ‘Class of 04’ is lining up to jingle jangle you with a 4 deck showdown of the biggest tracks from of 04 from Ivan Gough Vs Mark James.  ITM catches up with Mark to get the lowdown.

What has the vibe been like at your residency at Volume?

The vibe is always great Volume it has a real up for it party crowd .

At the ITM Xmas Party you will be doing a 4 deck versus set with Ivan Gough. Can you give us a bit of a rundown on how that came about and what it involves?

Ivan and myself over 4 decks 2 mixers spinning the best track of 2004

What tracks have been a stand out for you in 2004?

There have been so many I think the best thing is to come to Volume and you will here them all.

A Decade of Dance DVD release is a retrospective of the last decade of dance music, do you think it’s important to reflect upon the years gone by?

Its very important to reflect on the big events and parties that thousands of people have attended Decade of Dance is a visual celebration for all lovers of present and past dance music and parties.

Once we have all looked back on the past year, what do you think have been some of the stand out events/tours of this year?

Two Tribes, Summadayze, Godskitchen, Sasha, Ferry Corsten all have been great events and tours .

Do you think that 2004 has been a successful year for the dance music industry?

Yes it has after taking a media bashing in 2003 dance is dead etc dance music has come back stronger than ever.

What can punters look forward to from Future Entertainment in 2005?

Lots of great events and tours …...Two Tribes is going to be the best yet in 2005.

What personal projects can your fans look forward to in 2005?

I will have a new single out in late Feb with an album to follow in 2005 I will also be doing the Two Tribes 2005 mix CD out soon.
