STREAMING AUDIO INTERVIEW
As host of Australia’s most syndicated dance music radio show – ‘Sessions’ on the Nova network nationally – Goodwill is growing accustomed to the comparisons being made between him and UK broadcast impresario Pete Tong (of BBC Radio 1 fame). In 2007 the program will be moving slots to the more clubber friendly time of 10pm on Thursday, meaning he’ll be reaching more people each and every week, spreading the gospel of dance music far and wide across the country.
With his latest mix CD for Ministry Of Sound – the Clubber’s Guide to 2007, mixed alongside longtime pal Kid Kenobi – out now, and an exhaustive 25 date national tour to support its release now underway, ITM’s National Editor Tim Hardaker recently caught up with Goodwill for a chat. Listen in and get the lowdown on why Swedish classical music will be the sound of 2007, if he’s slowing down after reaching the ripe old age of 30, and what it was like meeting Ozzie Ostrich’s niece on MySpace.
