In this interview with ITM, BT talks about making music for pop stars, exploring new technologies and diverging away from a clubbier sound with his new album which will be released in 5.1 surround sound. ITM’s Tim Hardaker caught up with Brian Transeau aka BT, to get the full lowdown on his new album Binary Universe.

Well, it is a freakin awesome album, but once again Australia has been left behind. Released last year in America, Australia has only been able to download dodgy copies, or order from the us. Hopefully our version also includes the DVD version with VIDEO. And now.... BT has had his LAPTOP stolen (AGAIN!) and his precious instruments and computers that were used to make This Binary Universe ; So the chance of him touring....anywhere... is probably slim. *Not to BT fans.. This album is very much like his soundtrack work, so if your not into that you probably won't like. However it's probably one og the most inspirational and emotional albums I have ever heard. Great for Sunday mornings.
