Canadian native Luke Fair was cast as one of the dance scene’s “next big things” when he first emerged a few years back. After solid touring, excellent production and remix work, and two critically acclaimed mix CDs (‘OS_0.3’ for Bedrock and ‘In House We Trust’ for Yoshitoshi), he was invited by Australia’s very own EQ label to mix the latest in their celebrated ‘Balance’ series. Following on from CDs by the likes of James Holden, Desyn Masiello, Paolo Mojo, Anthony Pappa and more, the mix is eagerly anticipated and will be released in April.
At the Miami WMC for his world tour launch, Tim Hardaker caught up with Luke, speaking about his status as one of the dance scene’s newest superstars, how he manages to stand out from the pack, and what he’s looking forward to with his forthcoming Australian tour.
