STREAMING AUDIO INTERVIEW
Making his name in the fertile San Francisco house scene, recently Jay-J made the decision to pack up his studio and head for the east coast, relocating to New York and selling up his share in the legendary-among-house-heads Moulton Studios. The move sees him also establish his very own record label, Shifted Music, which is launching this weekend at the 2007 Miami Winter Music Conference.
Tim Hardaker managed to sneak in a few minutes with Jay-J as he was busy preparing for the launch event, talking about how he found the challenge of relocating to a new city, when he’ll be returning to Australia, and how he discovered Sydney duo Random Soul (who’ll be his second release on the label).
