STREAMING AUDIO INTERVIEW
With a debut single that did the unthinkable for a locally produced dance track – selling in the hundreds of thousands and winning them a swag of awards – expectations for what TV Rock would do next were always going to be high. With their debut album released late in 2006, the duo – Grant Smillie and Ivan Gough – were in Miami for WMC this year, and Tim Hardaker caught up with them to find out how they’ve found the response to the LP. We also get the skinny on their forthcoming move to Europe where they’ll be hooking up with the likes of Axwell, Chris Lake and D Ramirez in the studio, the impending Smirnoff Experience event with Armand Van Helden, and what spurred on their decision to jump ship from Onelove and take up a new Saturday night residency with Famous in Sydney and Melbourne.
TV Rock support Armand Van Helden and the Cuban Brothers at the first ever Australian Smirnoff Experience event in April. They’ll be joined by fellow locals Ajax and Sneaky Sound System. For details check out ITM’s Full Coverage page HERE.
