STREAMING AUDIO INTERVIEW
When it comes to global DJing superstars they don’t get much bigger than Armin Van Buuren. He’s rapidly ascending to the throne as the world’s leading dance music identity, moving up to #2 on DJ Mag’s annual poll in 2006, nipping closely at Paul Van Dyk’s heels and relegating fellow Dutchman, and longtime DJ Mag #1, Tiesto to third place on the winner’s podium.
Talking to Van Buuren in Montreal, Canada, you’d hardly know he was one of the world’s biggest DJs as he remains down to earth, easy going and modest of his success. A staunch supporter of the trance movement, sticking by the genre as many of his fellow DJs and producers jump bandwagons to the latest ‘in’ style, listen in as Armin speaks with ITM’s Angus Paterson ahead of his hugely hyped and eagerly anticipated ‘White Party’ tour in June.
Armin Van Buuren brings his ‘White Party’ concept down under next month. He’ll be playing sets of 5 hours + around the country, don’t miss out on one of the trance scene’s biggest and best!
