STREAMING AUDIO INTERVIEW
Often cited as two identities at the forefront of the ‘next generation’ of superstar DJs, when Nic Fanciulli and James Zabiela announced they’d be teaming up for a mix album and world tour under the name One+One, obsessive fanboys the world over collectively lost their shit.
Interestingly, the idea to team up was born out of the duo’s now renowned back-to-back set at Home in Sydney on their 2005 tour. The media has been comparing the union to Sasha and Digweed’s legendary collaborations throughout the 90s, which – as Nic Fanciulli explains to ITM – is both a blessing and a curse. Listen in as Nic explains to ITM’s Tim Hardaker that two heads are better than one.
Nic Fanciulli and James Zabiela tour Australia as One+One in June:
Jun 1 – We Love Sounds, Adelaide
Jun 3 – Ministry Of Sound Sessions, Perth
Jun 8 – We Love Sounds, Melbourne
Jun 9 – We Love Sounds, Brisbane
Jun 10 – We Love Sounds, Sydney
Their double album ‘One+One’ is out now through Ministry Of Sound.
