STREAMING AUDIO INTERVIEW
Europe’s finest proponents of the impossibly funky electronic music sub-genre known as ‘future disco’, Belgian duo Spirit Catcher have spent the best part of the past 7 years toiling away in the studio, producing 12” after 12” and remix after remix of impeccable quality. In 2007, following an invitation (or should that be insistent request?) from Ralph Lawson of the 2020 Vision label, they also finally caved in and released their debut album, ‘Night Vision’.
Someone really should send Lawson a thank you card, or at the very least an email, as it’s undoubteabley one of the best albums so far in ‘07. Even more exciting than the prospect of donning your favourite pair of slippers, sitting down with a nice cup of tea, and listening to ‘Night Vision’ from front-to-back, is the news that the duo will be touring Australia in June for the very first time. ITM’s Tim Hardaker got the lowdown…

Jun 9 – Brisbane
Jun 10 – Sydney
