Cologne based DJ and producer Sharam Jey will be in Australia to celebrate the 5th birthday of his record label King Kong this June, touring the country for the We Love Sounds Festival and Kink. A longtime favourite of the Kink crew, Sharam returns to Australia following the success of his 2006 mix CD and tour for the club. With a sound that spans house, tech, electro and even rock, Sharam has amassed a strong following in Australia, even causing clubbers to begin spontaneously crowd surfing at gigs in the past. ITM’s Angus Paterson talks shop with the leader of King Kong.
