The Bang Gang DJ posse has quite a lot to answer for. They’ve – almost single-handedly – influenced an entire generation of club kids with their music tastes, fashion sense and attitude towards partying. Hell, their famously debaucherous weekly party even spawned its very own dance move. Don’t believe us? Just type ‘bang gang dance’ into youtube… seriously, do it.

Of course, the most interesting aspect of the whole Bang Gang phenomenon is that the boys themselves are so goddamn nonchalant about it all. Speaking with Gus Da Hoodrat about their brand new CD for Modular, titled ‘Light Sound Dance’, it quickly becomes obvious that nothing they’ve done has been premeditated or calculated, making their whirlwind success all the more convincing.

Listen in as ITM’s Tim Hardaker speaks with Gus about their process for making the new CD, how they’ve come to adjust to life in the spotlight, and what they think of that dance.
