STREAMING AUDIO INTERVIEW
GT is swinging back to Australia this weekend, having packed his CD wallet with a bunch of fresh exclusives for another whirlwind national tour. Now based in Los Angeles, GT has been hard at work in the studio since returning to his newfound home in July, having finished recording his next album (due for release late this year or early next) and preparing to tour it live.
With a well-renowned reputation as a producer – having released albums as a solo artist and also of late gaining kudos for his co-productions with Sam La More as Tonite Only – GT’s new album sees him undertaking a fresh new direction. He talks with ITM’s Angus Paterson about his new music, and also what it’s like in the LA scene.
