The breadth of artists who have called upon Aussie house music icon Johnny Gleeson for his studio expertise is rather impressive, with Paolo Mojo, Robbie Rivera, Mark Knight and Martijn Ten Velden all giving him the thumbs up in recent years. As part of the Southside Hustlers with Carl Kennedy, Gleeson has seen his star continue to rise around the world in 2007.
A resident of legendary superclub Pacha in Ibiza, Gleeson also recently had his music signed to the Pacha label. He’s toured the globe, playing everywhere from London to Italy, New York to Shanghai, and just about everywhere in between. ITM’s Mo’Funk recently caught up with Gleeson, undoubtedly the Australian house scene’s unsung hero, to find out how 2007’s been traveling for him so far.
