STREAMING AUDIO INTERVIEW
As the golden boys of the Australian electronic music scene, Infusion are revered the world over for both their spectacular production work and incendiary live performances. From Brazil to Brisbane and Seoul to Sydney, Infusion’s reputation on the mainstage is second to none. With two critically acclaimed albums already in the can – their 2000 debut ‘Phrases And Numbers’ making them an underground sensation, while their 2004 follow-up ‘Six Feet Above Yesterday’ ensured they crossed-over to a wider audience – they’ve spent the best part of 2007 working on their eagerly anticipated third LP.
After a demanding global tour schedule to support ‘Six Feet Above Yesterday’ – rumours at one point started circulating that the pressures of their never-ending world tour had put an end to the band – the trio are now rested, relaxed and ready to rock out once again. Manuel of the band recently spoke with ITM’s Tim Hardaker about their preparations for album number three (at this stage tentatively due for release early in 2008), and forthcoming performance at Earthdance in Sydney.
Stay tuned to ITM for updates on Infusion’s forthcoming third album, and if you’re in Sydney don’t forget to check them out at Earthdance this Sunday, September 16th.
