Belgium’s M.I.K.E. has been a successful and consistent name in trance, of all shades and flavours, ever since he broke through in the late 90s with the massive anthem Universal Nation as part of the production duo Push. But M.I.K.E. was never a man who would have been satisfied with producing one single style of dance music: he’s released music under countless different aliases and produced music across genres as diverse as trance, tech, electro, techno and many more.

He’s on top form at the moment, and he’ll be back in the country very soon for the Godskitchen tour around the country. He talks to ITM’s Angus Paterson about the music he’s making, what he terms the ‘sound of the future’.

Catch M.I.K.E. at the following dates as part of the national Godskitchen tour…

Fri Sep 28 – Perth – Metro City & Capitol
Sun Sep 30 – Sydney – Home Nightclub
Fri Oct 5 – Brisbane – The Met
Sat Oct 6 – Melbourne, Melbourne Park & Rod Laver Arena
