The Glimmer Twins. Tiefschwarz. Jazzanova. Carl Craig. Yep, they all count themselves as fans of German trio Trickski, which should be a good enough reflection of how broad their music is. Is it nu-jazz, is it tech house or is it techno? Whatever you’d classify their music, Trickski one of the hottest acts to emerge out of their country’s booming electronic music scene.

ITM’s Tim Hardaker talks to Daniel Becker, one third of the trio, about nailing down the Trickski sound (or the difficulty therein) and finds out that even though the dance music world may be flocking to Berlin, it’s still the hottest place to be at the moment.
