STREAMING AUDIO INTERVIEW
It’s been a massive year for John Course, the Melbourne identity maintaining his well deserved reputation as Australia’s hardest working DJ through consistent interstate touring. His perseverance was rewarded with a #5 position in this year’s inthemix50; his highest placing ever, up 8 spots on last year.
ITM caught up with the man – affectionately known far and wide as ‘Coursey’ – to talk about his new CD for Ministry of Sound The Annual 2008, which recently entered the ARIA album charts at #1. We also found out what’s been happening for him with the Vicious label this year, and picked his brain on the current state of the Australian dance and predictions for the future (a reemergence of a ‘90s house sound’, perhaps?)
The Annual 2008 is out now through Ministry Of Sound/EMI. You can catch Course continuing his exhaustive tour of Australia with Goodwill to launch the CD throughout November and December:
