As the head of one of Australia’s biggest dance music promotion companies, Mark James has got his sights set on the Australian dance music summer: while there’s the massive Future Music Festival tour on the horizon in early ’08, in the more immediate ‘Future’ he’s got the Summadayze festival coming up: Melbourne’s flagship New Years Day event which is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year.

ITM’s Angus Paterson talks to the DJ, producer and Managing Director of Future Entertainment about sharing mixing duties with Dave Spoon on the new Summadayze CD, what he’s looking forward to in the New Year and what we can expect from Summadayze, Future Music Festival and beyond…
