STREAMING AUDIO INTERVIEW
Following the 2006 release of his dancefloor-ruling album Beware Of The Bird, Claude von Stroke has barely had a moment’s respite. The man’s dirtybird label, which he co-manages alongside fellow San Fran DJ/producer Justin Martin, is a touchstone for bass-drenched house music and looks set to stay strong in 2008. When he’s not wearing the record owner hat, Claude Von Stroke jets from club to club, notching up dates in Ibiza, London and Berlin. He’s as quirky a DJ as he is a producer, covering everything from rap to deep house to techno in the space of a few hours. One thing’s for sure, though – he always brings the funk.
Here he speaks to ITM’s Jack Tregoning about the latest from dirtybird, his upcoming Australian tour and why Pete Tong just can’t seem to get his name right.
Also featuring in our latest ITM Podcast, Claude von Stroke will be bumpin’ it across the country dates…
