STREAMING AUDIO INTERVIEW

Although the term ‘electro house’ is fast becoming something of a dirty word, when it comes to Tom Neville you’ve got to give credit where credit’s due. He was doing the genre before it even had a name, and many attribute him with kicking off the – now exceedingly popular – style of music with tracks like ‘Just Fuck’ and his seminal remix of Studio B’s ‘I See Girls’.

No stranger to Australia shores, having done both the Parklife festival tour and also a NYE/NYD period down under already in the past, Neville is gearing up for his long awaited return this weekend, and it’s set to be his biggest run of antipodean shows to date. The UK DJ, producer and remixer will undertake 13 shows from late December and well into January, showing that he obviously has something of a soft spot for local audiences. His NYE/NYD alone sees him playing shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, all within a single 24 hour period. We caught up with Neville recently to find out what’s been keeping him busy in 2007.
