A true cult figure of electronic music, Andrew Weatherall has left no avenue unexplored. He’s responsible for a suite of iconic albums as one half of the Two Lone Swordsmen, and has remixed for heavyweights like Bjork, New Order and The Orb. And Weatherall’s legacy as a DJ is equally illustrious: his sets are never limited to four-four, drawing on everything from ska to rockabilly to post-punk.

What’s more, his fierce intellect can always be relied on for a juicy soundbite. Here ITM’s Jack Tregoning asks the techno troubadour why it’s taken him his whole career to finally lock in a tour of Australia.
