STREAMING AUDIO INTERVIEW

There’s no questioning Andy C’s dominance over the drum & bass scene worldwide. While many of the sound’s biggest players throughout the 90s have seen their stars begin to fade in recent years, after almost two decades in the game Andy shows no signs of slowing down.

Radiating the same enthusiasm and excitement for his chosen genre that he no doubt exuded all those years ago when first starting out, he is consistently the highest ranking drum & bass identity on the annual DJ Mag Top 100, and his label Ram maintains its position as one of the dance scene’s most revered independent imprints.

Back in the country for a whistle-stop tour across the Australia Day long weekend, ITM’s Tim Hardaker spoke with Andy this week soon after his arrival from New Zealand. Listen in as Andy gives the lowdown on why he continues to remain loyal to vinyl and dub-plate culture.

Don’t miss Andy C on tour this weekend. His latest mix ‘Nightlife 3’ is also out now through Ram/Inertia.

Nobody has hearted this, be the first Be the first!
